Objective:
By means of the Gestión de Riesgo de Desastres, we have contributed to the development of good practices for the protection of the environment, the mitigation for climate change effects, and human behavior towards the environment in the Amazon and Andes communities.
Target Population:
Peri-urban communities of the cities, and rural communities of the Amazon and Andes.
Results:
- Different organizations from the peri-urban zones influence the exercise of public policies for the reduction of climate change effects.
- Families and communities develop practices for environment care in peri-urban and rural communities.
- Families and communities know and apply strategies for the reduction of natural disaster risks.
- Attention in emergency situations now offered.
