Jon is a strategic relations specialist with experience in community organizing and nonprofit leadership. With a degree in Intercultural Studies and International Relief & Development, Jon gained experience as a practitioner in his hometown in Pennsylvania. For 12 years he ran a community initiative program, bringing people together across socio-economic barriers to build community solutions. This led to leadership involvement for local coalitions and healthcare, as well as advocacy work on a state and federal level, serving on the National Advisory Council on Migrant Health. Previously Jon served as the Director of Capacity Development for PHI, supporting local Paz teams in Latin America by cultivating strategic partnerships and project management. He is passionate about the power of relationship, being present in the margins of society, environmental and restorative justice. Jon lives with his wife and five daughters in Huánuco, Peru.
