Runner Raises Funds for Deaf Children in Peruvian Amazon

Pablo Garcia is running a half marathon on November 9th to support Peace and Hope’s school for deaf children in Peru’s northern Amazon region. The program provides education in Peruvian Sign Language and works to protect children from trafficking and violence. The school leaders also train and equip family members in sign language, support a deaf community for the children to be a part of, and work to reduce stigma and increase opportunities for deaf persons in the Peruvian Amazon.

Garcia aims to raise $5,000 by mid-December to help deaf children access education and dignity. Your donation—no matter the size—helps deaf children thrive! Join Pablo in supporting this life-changing work.
