What a year for Paz y Esperanza El Salvador! This October marked a historic moment as the local team officially launched their public presence and helped bring together 120 pastors and church leaders from across Central America for an International Pastoral Encounter.
As founding members and current coordinators of the regional Pastoral Network for Peace and Reconciliation, Paz El Salvador created space for honest dialogue on issues that matter: family well-being, caring for new generations, mental health, and how churches can be places of protection and healing. Thirty pastoral leaders from El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras then formalized their commitment to work together on preventing domestic violence and supporting survivors.
The team also demonstrated courageous solidarity by visiting Pastor José Angel Pérez—detained by authorities for defending 300 families from unjust eviction—bringing his family encouragement, practical support, and prayer. Through radio interviews, community programs, and partnerships with organizations like World Vision and the Evangelical Alliance, Paz El Salvador is becoming a vital voice for peace and justice in the region.
