Peace and Hope and other organizations are joining efforts to build an oxygen plant in Andahuaylas in the highlands of Apurimac, Peru to help people suffering from Covid-19 and other respiratory conditions. As the tragedy of this pandemic continues to unfold, we have people needlessly dying for the simple reason that doctors and health clinics don’t have enough oxygen available for communities in this region of Peru.
Local Peace and Hope teams throughout Latin America continue to respond to the ever increasing tragedies of the pandemic and efforts to curb the spread of the virus. This has magnified injustices that already existed, and we further our resolve to walk with those who are suffering.
