Responding to Wildfires in Chile

Peace and Hope is responding to horrific disaster in the Valparaiso region of central Chile. Deadly wildfires are ravaging entire residential communities, leaving behind the charred remains of loved ones and homes. We are working with local churches and in coordination with local municipalities and the National Office of Religious Affairs (ONAR) of Chile, to provide water tanks, food, clothes and emergency supplies to victims.

We are also providing a hotline for access to mental health professionals, and are assessing the need. Currently we’d like to be able to provide food & supplies boxes for 100 families who lost everything. We are seeking funds so we can continue to provide this for 6 months, as well as helping with the cleanup and reconstruction process. The cost per month of helping a family is approximately $1000 USD. The more given, the more families we can bless! We can’t do this alone. Please, join us in giving love and compassion in these tangible ways to hurting families in our community.
